押井守的两部攻壳机动队的老剧场版动画分别为：
1995年
映画版第1部「GHOST IN THE SHELL 攻壳机动队」
监督：押井守
制作：Production I.G

2004年
映画版第2部「イノセンス」（无罪）
监督：押井守
制作：Production I.G

其中剧场版1 在2008年由押井守亲自重制，部分场景重绘及3D化，这就是 GHOST IN THE SHELL 2.0
2.0版同时重做了音频，质量比1995版提升巨大（尤其是音轨）
但虽然做了数码化，手绘+赛璐璐仍然体现了当前数字化动画所无法展现的美感，令人十分感动

这份字幕版对应的即是2.0版
字幕版首次发布于 2013年7月，本次为重新做种发布
